“There is a growing consumer demand for connected home products that both save users’ money, and make lives easier,” said Jason Park, Marketing manager at iLuv. “iLuv has always been committed to providing consumers with mobile products and accessories that add value to their lives. Our new connected home line is a natural extension to our product offering. Our Rainbow8 smart lightbulbs are not only affordable, but they easily allow users to schedule and control the lights throughout their home from anywhere, providing convenience and even more cost savings.”
With the Rainbow8™ app, users can turn on and off their lights, adjust color settings and brightness, and set customizable schedules to best suit their needs. Lights can be controlled individually, or grouped together giving users the ability to control multiple lights in their home at once. Additionally, Rainbow8™ is Apple HomeKit-certified and offers HomeKit users a “plug-and-play” connected lighting option. The lightbulbs can be easily integrated with other HomeKit-certified products, making them a seamless part of the smart home experience and allowing the lights to be controlled by Siri.
The Rainbow8™ will be on display at the iLuv Booth #8625 at CES January 6-9 in Las Vegas. The booth will feature brand new products from iLuv, including portable Bluetooth® speakers and 2K IP Cameras.
Pricing and Availability
The Rainbow 8™ has an SRP of $49.99 and will be available in March 2016 at amazon.com and other select retailers.
